Oh, I cannot deal with spiders or centipedes … never have been able to deal with them. If they are the bathtub, I run the water … such a brave girl, but anywhere else, I am just paralyzed with fear when I see them.
I’m not even that indulgent. My “whacking” shoe is always handy once it gets warmer, but only if they are in a precise spot where I know I can get them and not miss. I used to have something made by Remington called a “Bug Sucker” – it was great. It was made like a rechargeable vacuum cleaner, but with a trap door so that the bugs could not exit. The trap door led to a cylinder … that was not wonderful as they’d be in there with no air and still crawling around. When the cylinder was filled up, you threw it away. It was great, but Remington quit making the device, so there was nowhere to buy the cylinders.
I once nearly drove my car off the road because of a spider, so I feel your pain.

I can handle pretty much anything other than spiders and ticks. *shudder*

I try to have a live-and-let-live attitude, but if they get too close, all bets are off.

A “bug sucker” sounds like a wonderful thing!

I was mad they stopped making it. Mine is unplugged but I kept it in case I can find cartridges again. It was great!
