Assuming control…

Last Friday I told you how the pet sitter always sends pictures of the cats when she visits. However, not all of the photos turn out as well as that one of Marvin. We get our fair share of pictures like this.😂 Honestly, I’m not even sure which of the cats this is. Cricket? Nyx? Someone else?🤷‍♀️ (The “assuming control” caption is for any Mass Effect fans out there. If you know, you know.😉)

Marvin

One of the many blessings in our life is our amazing pet sitter, Furbabies Caregiver LLC. I’m extra thankful these days when we’re away from home so often as we travel back and forth to help out with the twins. When the pet sitter comes to the house she sends pictures of each of the cats. This one just cracks me up. This is Marvin, one of our outdoor kitties. This expression is very much that of a disapproving parent. I can almost hear him saying “It’s about time you got here, young lady. Do you have any idea what time it is?” (On another note, after a lifetime of cat ownership, I am convinced that brown tabbies have the best purr-sonalities of the feline world.)

What the fluff is going on here?

Kenn and I stayed at our son and daughter-in-law’s house to take care of our oldest grandson while his parents were in the hospital with their new twins. I stumbled across this random scene on top of a mirror. I could ask them “What the fluff?” but I think it’s more fun to make up my own stories. Are the gnomes invading and the army man is protecting his home? Is the army man the aggressor? Maybe the army man has an unseen nemesis in his sights. Perhaps Medusa is lingering in the shadows after turning the gnome to stone and the army man is protecting his friend. I could go on and on. (Seriously. Just ask Kenn.😂)

Happy Friday!

Friday Funnies

When Kenn developed his allergy to polyester, we had to replace the buffalo plaid sheets and coordinating quilt I had chosen for the camper. It was harder than I expected to find a satisfactory (if not thrilling) non-polyester, non-microfiber replacement. Somehow, this one piece always draws my eye. No matter how hard I try, I can’t see anything but a surprised frog.😂🐸 Some things, once seen, can’t be unseen, LOL.
