We recently stopped at a newer Love’s truck stop where they had a Pet Wash. I thought it was hysterical – and the fire hydrant in the front made it even funnier. (Side note: they also had a special gated area where RVers could park over night. We’ll be looking into this as an option on our travels.)
Would you use a Pet Wash for your pet?
Now, that’s a new one on me, too. I bet it’ll be used a lot! I’ve read about RV options at Love’s. I see so many trucks at these stops where the trucks are running, parked, and I assume the driver is sleeping inside. I’m not sure I’d want to sleep nearby that air with all the exhaust in it – much less the noise. I’d be curious about your experience if you try this. We do use the Love’s app when traveling and usually buy our gas from them. Good post!

That was one of the cool things – the RV section was separate from the area for the trucks. It had a gated entrance and even a restroom/shower facility.

It is why we like labs–self-cleaning! I cannot imagine bathing a pet on the road, but I suppose if you were traveling with it, it might be needed.

I’ve not seen anything like this around here. It’s sort of genius, but also who’d want to ride with a wet dog inside your vehicle?

No wet dogs – there were blow dryers too!

No kidding! Oh that’s something unique. How fun and unexpected.

That’s really cool.

That is awesome. Especially if your dogs get car sick and puke on themselves.

Not being a dog owner, I hadn’t even considered that!

Wow, have to keep my eyes open for these. I’ve heard about the RV Parks but have not come across one yet. It time I’m sure we’ll discover one.
