I see the photos in some of my Southern bloggers’ posts. I follow a blogger who lives in Australia and has a huge natural garden. All perennials – just gorgeous. I’ve never seen flowers like these before – different butterflies, birds – such a variety of birds, including wild parrots around his place at the birdbaths. It is like looking at National Geographic photos.
Yes, I enjoy Brian’s photos a lot … I had a childhood friend move to Australia while we still lived in Canada. Her father was transferred through his job. We kept in touch but then we moved to the States and lost contact.
Look at that! The detail is amazing.

Thanks! I was excited to finally find a mimosa where it was safe to park and take photos.

Really? I love mimosa (also known as Persian Silk trees). They’re everywhere around here; they’re one of the “invasive” plants that love the South.

So many pretty plants there in the South Linda – I have never seen Crepe Myrtle either.

Another of my favorite trees. I seem to favor trees with pretty blooms.
