I recently saw an art project where you put shadows on paper like that and then trace it with a black marker. It was really cool, but I haven’t tried it yet.
That is very interesting! Is that a canvas with gesso on it? What is the purpose of the triangle? I am very curious about what this is, besides (obviously!) interesting.
It’s actually the shadow from a small (fake) potted plant. The triangle is part of another item on the table top that I faieled to move out of the way.
Oh boy, yes an amoeba straight from the biology books from years, no decades, ago. I think we saw the COVID virus pic so often we’ll never forget what it looks like. 🙂

I did something like that in an art class. We transferred the picture to a piece of stained glass and then turned the glass into sun catchers.
