It’s not unusual to get samples of various items in our Hello Fresh delivery. However, most samples are full-sized; I had a good giggle over this tiny container of sea salt. Of course, I had to use one of our many Golden Orb Weavers for size reference; the perspective makes the spider appear smaller than it is.

I do like Hello Fresh. It gives me a chance to try different things and gives me a couple of nights a week where I don’t have to figure out what to cook.

Look at those long legs. I’d have to pull down the blind, or close the curtain so I didn’t see it lurking there on the outside of the screen. 🙂

We had a very similar-looking spider outside Dalton’s bedroom the summer he was about 2, along with two others on our property. I’ve never seen those spiders in SoCal since. Dalton loved it and always said “Good morning” and “good night” to her.

The nice thing about sea salt? It’s coarser, so a little bit goes a long(er) way. You might get two or three meals’ use out of that sample!
